Whistler Accommodation Maps was created by Troy Assaly, of Whistler Resort, British Columbia.

After spending outrageous sums of money on map designers for creating Whistler accommodation maps, it was clear that Google Maps would be a welcome alternative. This website started out as a test on the Google Maps platform and has since morphed into a collection of Whistler accommodation info.

Troy Assaly, the creator of this Whistler maps site,  started out with an entrepreneurial flare, running several businesses while in high school and for two years after graduation. He then completed a four-year Commerce Degree, majoring in Marketing and Computers, from the University of British Columbia. He has held several management positions since, including Hudson’s Bay Co., Sunkist Growers Inc., Blackcomb Mountain, Canadian Snowmobile & ATV Adventures, and Eagle Ski, Snowboard & Golf Tours.  Currently Troy is working full-time on www.ResortAc.com and several other Whistler accommodation websites.

During his years of designing and maintaining Whistler websites, Troy discovered that the biggest challenge faced by travelers is how to find the best ski-in ski-out or golf course accommodations. Other accommodation seekers are looking for peaceful, quiet rentals, or Whistler Village accommodations in the epicenter of pounding resort nightlife.

When he’s not selling or net surfing, Troy will be found exploring the Whistler Okanagan areas of BC via mountain bike, boat, skis, or snowboard.
